President Appoints New Governors For Some States, Some Shifted Former Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik has been appointed as the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Satya Pal Malik will be replacing former J&K Governor NN Vohra. He has served for almost a decade. Satya Pal Malik had previously served as the Union Minister of State, Parliamentary Affairs and Tourism. Other governors who were appointed by the Centre are: Shri Lal Ji Tandon as the Governor of Bihar, Shri Satyadev Narayan Arya as the Governor of Haryana, Smt. Baby Rani Maurya as the Governor of Uttarakhand, Shri Satya Pal Malik, Governor of Bihar is transferred and appointed as Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Ganga Prasad, Governor of Meghalaya is transferred and appointed as Governor of Sikkim, Shri Tathagata Roy, Governor of Tripura is transferred and appointed as Governor of Meghalaya, Shri Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor of Haryana is transferred and appointed as Governor of Tripura. -PTC NEWS
