EDUCATION
Rinku completed his graduation from DAV College in Jalandhar, and has been actively involved in politics since his student days. He was a prominent member of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) during his college days.
POLITICAL TIMELINE
In 2002, Sushil Kumar Rinku began his political career as a ground-level worker during the Lok Sabha Elections. Four years later, in 2006, he successfully contested and won the position of Municipal Councilor, securing victory by a margin of 2500 votes.
Regarding his family background, Sushil Kumar Rinku comes from a lineage deeply rooted in the Indian National Congress, with his family serving the party for approximately 45 years. His uncle and father actively participated in numerous assembly and parliamentary elections.

On April 5, 2023, Sushil Kumar Rinku joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
