PTC News Desk: Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu has been officially declared elected as a member of the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan.
Given the BJP's strong presence with over two-thirds majority in the state, Bittu's entry into the Upper House was widely expected. Rajasthan's seat is one of 12 vacant Rajya Sabha seats across nine states that are set to be contested in the upcoming elections on September 3.
