Punjab: Vigilance raids on Capt Amarinder Singh's close aide Bharat Inder Singh Chahal
Patiala, December 19: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau on Monday raided several locations of Bharat Inder Singh Chahal, close aide of former Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh.
Vigilance raids were still underway at palaces, malls, and other places when the report was last filed. The Punjab Vigilance is investigating graft charges against Bharat Inder Singh Chahal. A team reached his Alcazar Marriage Palace on Patiala-Sirhind Road Monday morning to know the value the property.

It is learnt that former Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh's close aide Chahal amassed property through "unfair means" when he was adviser to the former during the tenure of the Congress government in Punjab.
Chahal had Cabinet rank from 2017-21. However, he along with Capt Amarinder Singh joined the BJP in July.

A few days ago also, the Patiala Police reached his house, but sources said he was not at home.
