PTC Web Desk: Former election strategist Prashant Kishor has officially entered electoral politics with the launch of his political party, Jan Suraj, which aims to contest all seats in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. The Jan Suraj Party will be led by Manoj Bharti, a retired Indian Foreign Service officer. Prashant Kishor has promised that if elected, the party would lift Bihar's prohibition on liquor, redirecting the revenue towards improving the state's education system.
Kishor, known for his vision of shifting electoral agendas away from caste-based politics and freebies, stated that the party’s leadership was determined by the people who worked with him during the last two years of grassroots efforts.

Kishor’s journey with Jan Suraj began with a yatra across the state, and the transformation into a political party is seen as the midpoint of his mission. He continues to focus on visiting every village in Bihar to educate people about their rights and encourage them to vote for progress, without succumbing to the pressure of traditional political parties. The next step for Jan Suraj will be the presentation of a detailed plan to tackle Bihar's challenges.
