Lok Sabha Polls 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday released its eight list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Odisha, Punjab and West Bengal.
From Punjab, Dinesh Singh 'Babbu' to contest from Gurdaspur, Taranjit Singh Sandhu from Amritsar, Sushil Kumar Rinku from Jalandhar, Hans Raj Hans from Faridkot, Preneet Kaur from Patiala and Ravneet Singh Bittu from Ludhiana.

The 2024 Indian general election in Punjab will be held on 1 June 2024 to elect 13 members of the 18th Lok Sabha.
Notably, Sushil Kumar Rinku, a former Congress MLA and AAP’s MP political journey recently took a significant turn when he decided to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. His decision to switch parties reflects a strategic move to align himself with a different political ideology and platform.

Few days ago, Ravneet Singh Bittu, former Congress MP from Punjab's Ludhiana, has joined the BJP just ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Ravneet Singh Bittu represented the Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency in Punjab from 2009 to 2014.
