PTC News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched an attack against the Congress for Rahul Gandhi's "Jitni Abadi Utna Haq" (The more the population, the higher the rights) remark on the Bihar caste census, saying the Congress wants to divide Hindus and destroy the country.

Addressing the BJP's 'Parivartan Mahasankalp' rally in Jagdalpur in poll-bound Chhattigarh's Bastar, Modi also stated that the poor are the country's largest caste and population, and questioned whether the Congress has abandoned its "minorities have the first right" position.

"The Congress has been creating a narrative since yesterday. 'Jitni Abadi Utna Haq', they say. I believe that if there is a larger population in the country, it is the poor, and thus the poor are the largest population for me, and the wellbeing of the poor is my goal." Modi stated.

"What would Manmohan Singh, the former Prime Minister, be thinking?" Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had stated that minorities, particularly Muslims, have first claim to the country's resources, but the Congress now claims that the population will decide who has first right. Does Congress now want to limit minorities' rights?" he asked.

“If it is going to be decided according to population, then who will have the first right? Who has the bigger population? Who will have the right? Congress must clarify whether the rights will be given according to the population. Does Congress want to decrease the rights of the minorities?” the Prime Minister said.

"Should Hindus, who have the largest population, come forward and take all their rights?" said he.

Modi further claimed that the Congress is not run by leaders but by anti-national forces, and that it has a hidden pact with another country.

"I have been saying for a long time and I will say it again: the Congress party is no longer run by Congress people, Congress people are not running the Congress party, and the big leaders of the Congress are silent." "Their opinion is not sought, and they are afraid to speak even after witnessing all of this," he stated.

“Now the Congress has been outsourced. Congress is now being run by people behind the scenes, people who are playing such games and who are in collusion with anti-national forces. Congress is trying to divide the Hindus of the country and destroy this nation,” he said.
