PTC Web Desk: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday made his first visit to Punjab following his interim bail sanction by the Supreme Court in the Delhi excise policy case.

He paid obeisance at the revered Golden Temple in Amritsar, followed by paying respects at the Durgiana Temple. Accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP's Amritsar candidate Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Kejriwal later organised a grand roadshow in the city. A large number of AAP supporters were present at the roadshow.

Granted interim bail until June 1, coinciding with the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections, Arvind Kejriwal is directed to surrender and return to jail on June 2, subsequent to his arrest on March 21. The purpose of his visit included a planned roadshow in Amritsar to endorse Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal.
