PM Narendra Modi addresses all-party meeting on Budget Session 2021 of Parliament
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday addressed the all-party meeting on Union Budget Session 2021 of Parliament and highlighted the role that India can play to further global good in many sectors.
He paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his Punya Tithi and said that India must strive towards fulfilling his dreams even as he condemned the desecration of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue in California, USA, on Saturday morning.

He said that that such an atmosphere of hate was not welcome for our planet.
Prime Minister further assured that the government was approaching the issue of farm laws with an open mind. He said that the government's stand was the same as it was on January 22, and the proposal regarding the suspension of farm laws given by the Agriculture Minister still stands.

He reiterated that the Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar was just a phone call away for taking forward the talks.
