PM Modi inaugurates 341-km Purvanchal Expressway in UP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Purvanchal Expressway at Karwal Kheri in Sultanpur district in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in a C-130 Hercules plane on the airstrip constructed on Purvanchal Expressway. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel and other leaders were present on the occasion.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "When I laid the foundation stone of Purvanchal Expressway three years ago, I had never thought that I will land here on an aircraft one day."
