PKL Auction 2021: Pardeep Narwal becomes most expensive player, sold to UP Yoddha
PKL Auction 2021: Raider Pardeep Narwal has become the highest-ever bought kabaddi player in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) as he has been roped in by 'UP Yoddha' for Rs 1.65 crore. The 'UP Yoddha' bought Pardeep Narwal on Monday, the second day of the PKL auction 2021 for the upcoming season 8. The new season will take place in December. Meanwhile, Siddharth Desai has been retained by the 'Telugu Titans' via the Final Bid Match (FBM) card for Rs 1.30 crore from his base price of Rs 30 lakh. As many as 22 overseas players have been sold on the second day. While all-rounder Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh (base price Rs 10 lakh), was sold to the 'Patna Pirates' for Rs 31 lakh, the 'Bengal Warriors' bought defender Abozar Mohajermighani at Rs 30.5 lakh from the base price of Rs 20 lakh.
