Chandigarh, October 13: Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) president Gulzar Inder Singh Chahal on Thursday tendered his resignation, citing personal reasons.
"Due to personal reasons I hereby tender my resignation as President of Punjab Cricket Association," Gulzar Chahal said on Twitter.
This comes days after former India cricketer and Rajya Sabha MP Harbhajan Singh alleged 'illegal activities' at PCA.

Notably, Harbhajan Singh has accused Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) president Gulzar Inder Singh Chahal of corruption.
He also wrote to members of the association, district units, and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, stating that the current regime is engaging in illegal activities.
Chahal, 39, was unanimously elected PCA president earlier this year. Interestingly, Harbhajan also backed him, which the latter now says was a 'mistake'.
