Coronavirus and Omicron in India Highlights: India on Wednesday reported 1,94,720 fresh Covid-19 cases, 60,405 recoveries, and 442 deaths in the last 24 hours. Compared to Tuesday, the total number of fresh Covid-19 cases is up by 26,657 (15.8 percent) on Wednesday. India had reported 1,68,063 cases on Wednesday. The active case tally in India has increased to 9,55,319 while the daily positivity rate has increased to 11.05 percent. The confirmed cases of Omicron in India have increased to 4,868.
