PTC News Desk: Former cricketer Yograj Singh has sparked a massive row over his explosive remarks over woman and mocking hindi speaking people saying that the language is associated with women and lacks energy.

During his interview with Samdish Bhatia on Unfiltered, the father of legendry cricketer Yuvraj Singh said, “When men speak Hindi, it feels like, ‘Kaun bol raha hai, kaisa aadmi hai.’ (who is speaking, what type of a man is he?)"

He further mimicked Hindi-speaking people from UP and Bihar, contrasting it with Punjabi, which he called a “manly" language. He went on further and also made some startling remarks over woman and said, 'Wife will destroy your house if you give her power. Sorry to say, Indira Gandhi ran this country and destroyed it. Give them respect and love, but never give them power.'

Singh's comments however did not go down well the netizens and promptly triggered backlash on social media.

During the podcast, Yograj also claimed that he once went to Kapil Dev's house with a gun in his hand and wanted to shoot him.
