World knows the epicentre of terror: India slams Pakistan over allegation of hand in Train siege

PTC News Desk: India on Friday strongly rejected Pakistan's baseless claims alleging that India had a hand in the Jaffar Express attack.

Ministry of External Affairs in a strong rebuke rejected the accusations of "sponsoring terrorism," asserting that the world is well aware of where the true "epicentre of global terrorism" lies.

"We strongly reject the baseless allegations made by Pakistan. The whole world knows where the epicentre of global terrorism lies," Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said. "Pakistan should look inwards instead of pointing fingers and shifting the blame for its own internal problems and failures onto others."

Earlier on Thursday, Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan claimed that the rebels involved in the attack on the Jaffar Express were in contact with ring leaders in Afghanistan.

"India has been involved in terrorism in Pakistan. In the particular attack on Jaffar express, the terrorists had been in contact with their handlers and ring leaders in Afghanistan," Shafqat Ali Khan said during his weekly press briefing.

Though it is not the first time that Pakistan has blamed India for backing Baloch separatist, however this time it has pointed towards Afghanistan for orchestrating such an attack on Pakistan soil.
