'Will kill him like Baba Siddique': 24-year-old woman arrested over death threat to Yogi Adityanath
Mumbai Police received a death threat stating that if Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath does not resign within 10 days, he will be killed like NCP's Baba Siddique.
PTC News Desk: A 24-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a message threatening Yogi Adityanath.
Fatima Khan was arrested by Mumbai Police after an inquiry found that a text message was sent from her phone number. According to police sources, Fatima is highly qualified but struggles with mental health issues. The woman has a BSc in information technology and lives with her family in Thane, near Mumbai. Her father is in the timber business, according to sources.
Earlier in the day, Mumbai Police received a death threat stating that if Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath does not resign within 10 days, he will be killed like NCP's Baba Siddique.
On Saturday evening, the Mumbai Police Traffic Control Cell received a message from an unknown number.
Police are conducting further investigation to determine who sent the threat message.
The Chief Minister's security has been increased in response to the message.
On October 12, three men shot Baba Siddique dead outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office while he was bursting firecrackers for Dussehra.
