PTC Web Desk: IAS officer Tina Dabi is once again making headlines after a viral video captured her reaction to a woman sarpanch’s remarkable English skills. The incident took place at a recent event in Rajasthan's Barmer district, where Tina Dabi was attending as the guest of honour. The viral clip features Sarpanch Sonu Kanwar, dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire, delivering an eloquent speech in English that left the audience, including the Barmer District Collector, impressed.

In her speech, the sarpanch welcomed Tina Dabi, saying, "I am glad to be part of this day. First of all, I welcome our collector, Tina ma'am. Being a woman, it's an honour to welcome Tina ma'am." She then continued to speak on water conservation, a key issue in the arid region. Her confident oratory drew applause from the crowd, as well as admiration from Tina Dabi, who appeared pleasantly surprised by the sarpanch's fluency in English.

Tina Dabi, who shot to fame after topping the UPSC exam in 2015, has continued to be a prominent figure in Indian civil services.
