A landslide on the new track to the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district killed two women pilgrims and severely injured a girl.

Vaishno Devi landslide: A landslide on the new track to the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district killed two women pilgrims and severely injured a girl.

According to officals, the landslide hit the route near Panchi, three km ahead of Bhawan at around 2.35 pm. Officials also reported that a piece of an overhead iron structure had been collapsed.

According to reports, the pilgrims were on their way to the shrine when they became trapped under the iron structure after a landslide occurred. Two women died and one girl was severely injured in the incident.

On Sunday, the weather department forecasted dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir until September 12. However, it stated that the Union Territory will have a brief period of rain in isolated areas on several days.
