UP woman hires hitman to kill daughter, gets killed herself
A 35-year-old woman hired a hitman to kill her daughter because she was "fed up" with the 17-year-old's behaviour. Alka got in touch with 38-year-old Subhash Singh and paid him to murder her daughter. However, Alka was unaware that Subhash was her daughter's lover.

According to the Times of India, the hitman killed Alka instead of the daughter.
Alka's daughter previously eloped with someone from their neighbourhood. However, she was unaware of her daughter's relationship. After being sent to her maternal home in Farrukhabad, the teenager started a phone relationship with Subhash. When Alka found the calls, she decided to take serious measures.
On September 27, Alka offered Subhash Rs 50,000 to kill her daughter, as reported. However, when Subhash revealed the plot to the teenager, she suggested an alternative: kill her mother instead, promising to marry him if he did. During police questioning, both of them confessed to the crime.
Subhash and the teen were arrested on Wednesday night. Police officers were taken aback by the bizarre circumstances surrounding the case.
