PTC Web Desk: A woman in Tripura allegedly strangled her nine-year-old son to death because she was furious that he was stealing money and not studying.
The mother has been identified as Suprabha Bal. She admitted to killing her son and was seen sitting near her son's body when police arrived. The incident occurred in Agartala's Joynagar, and she has been arrested.
Bal, who worked as a day labourer on a construction site, stated that with her husband missing and her daughter married, she was left to raise her kid alone.
"His behaviours made it impossible for me to work or live peacefully. I killed him and am ready to go to jail for it," she admitted.
The police found a piece of rope and a bamboo stick at her home, which were reportedly used in the murder.
