Chandigarh traffic advisory: The Chandigarh Traffic Police have issued a detailed traffic advisory ahead of the much-anticipated Diljit Dosanjh concert scheduled in Chandigarh on Saturday at the Sector-34 Exhibition Ground. Commuters are advised to plan their travel as traffic disruptions are expected from 4 pm onwards.
Key points of traffic advisory
Restricted Roads: Roads around the Sector-34 Exhibition Ground and the Sector 33/34 dividing road should be avoided. Piccadilly Chowk (Sector 20/21-33/34 Chowk) and New Labour Chowk (Sector 20/21-33/34 Chowk) are expected to witness heavy traffic flow.
Traffic restrictions post 4 pm
Restricted entry from Sector 33/34/44/45 to 33/34 Light Point and New Labour Chowk.
T-point Sham Mall to Polka Turn and from Bhawan Vidyalaya School T-Point to Sector-33/45 Chowk.
Other affected routes include Gaushala Chowk (Sector-44/45/50/51) and South End/Gurudwara Chowk.
Parking and shuttle service
No parking will be available near the venue in Sector-34
Designated parking areas include: Sector-17 Multilevel Parking and adjoining lots, Dussehra Ground, Sector-43; Open Ground opposite Laxmi Narayan Mandir, Sector-44, Dussehra Ground, Sector-45, Mandi Ground, Sector-29.
Shuttle buses will transport attendees from these parking zones to the venue and back.
Guidelines for taxi and ride-sharing services
Ola, Uber, and other taxis must drop passengers at the designated parking lots. Direct alighting near the venue will not be permitted.
Unauthorised parking on roads or non-designated areas will result in vehicles being impounded.

- Protectees with personal security officers attempting unauthorised access will face action, including officials involved
