Daman Singh also highlighted her father's determination during his time as a student at Cambridge University, where financial difficulties were a constant hurdle. Although he had a scholarship, Singh frequently struggled, living frugally, relying on subsidized meals, and sometimes getting by with just a sixpence bar of Cadbury's chocolate when funds from home were late.
