See first images of gold-adorned Ram Lalla idol post temple consecration
PTC News Desk: The inaugural images of the Ram Lalla idol, portraying Lord Ram as a five-year-old adorned with gold jewelry, were unveiled following the consecration ceremony at the newly constructed Ram Temple in Ayodhya today. The 51-inch idol, meticulously carved from black stone, was attired in a yellow dhoti, complemented by a golden crown and necklaces, while grasping a golden bow and arrow.
Leading up to the consecration ceremony, the temple authority revealed images of the idol, where the face and eyes were veiled with cloth.
On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the Pran Pratisthta, the consecration ceremony. Additionally, he conducted an aarti within the sanctum sanctorum as part of the consecration proceedings.
