SC reserves judgment on Arvind Kejriwal's bail plea

Supreme Court on Thursday reserved judgment in the petitions filed by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal seeking release from custody in the excise policy case.

PTC News Desk: The Supreme Court on Thursday reserved judgment in the petitions filed by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal seeking release from custody in the excise policy case.

On Thursday, the Supreme Court's panel of Justices Surya Kant and Ujjal Bhuyan heard the case for the whole day. "Order reserved. Thank you. See you on Tuesday," Justice Surya Kant said. 

The Supreme Court panel was hearing two different petitions filed by Kejriwal: one contesting the legality of his arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and another seeking bail in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy issue.
