'Sardar Bhi, Aur Asardar Bhi': Navjot Singh Sidhu shares throwback video apologising to Dr. Manmohan Singh

He shared a throwback video when he publicly apologised Dr. Manmohan Singh asserting that his name will be carved in golden letters of India's history.

PTC News Desk: Cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu paid his tributes to former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh who passed away at 92 after prolonged illness. He also shared a throwback video when he publicly apologised Dr. Manmohan Singh asserting that his name will be carved in golden letters of India's history. 


In a post on X, Sidhu said, "A legendary Prime Minister, who is and will be a cult figure forever.... His legend will keep growing. For institutions never die, they keep inspiring generations."


"Whenever the history of character, ability and honesty will be written in Indian politics, your name will be written in golden letters on the first page. Neither there was anyone like you before you nor there will be anyone like you after you!" he added.



The video dates back to 2018 from his address during 84th Congress Plenary session when he publicly apologised Dr. Manmohan Singh for his earlier remarks on him. During his address, Sidhu called Manmohan Singh both Sardar and asardar(effective).
