PTC News Desk: Massive rescue operations are being carried out to save a 3 year old girl who fell into 700-in deep borewell in Rajasthan's Kotputli. The girl Chetna has been stuck in the borewell for more than 27 hours now.
The teams of State Disaster Response Force and National Disaster Response Force and several other army personnel have been deployed to conduct the rescue operation.
They were initially trying to rescue Chetna by using 15 iron rods of 10 feet each, by placing them next to each other, but they were not successful in that.
Sub Division Magistrate (SDM) Brajesh Choudhary stated that significant progress has been made in the operation and NDRF has been trying to pull the toddler out of the borewell.
"The teams of NDRF, SDRF, and administration have been trying to carry out the rescue operations. We have placed a ring below the girl so we are hoping we can rescue her soon. There has been no deterioration in the girl's medical conditions," Chaudhary said.
