Rajasthan borewell accident: 5-year old Aryan dies after being trapped for 56 hours
Eventually Aryan was pulled out after approximately more than 50 hours in an unconscious state and was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.
PTC News Desk: In a tragic turn of events, a five year old boy who fell into the borewell died after he was trapped inside it for more than 50 hours. The minor, Aryan fell into a 150-foot-deep borewell in Rajasthan's Dausa. Despite persistent efforts and rescue operations that was carried out for three days could not save Aryan.
Eventually Aryan was pulled out after approximately more than 50 hours in an unconscious state and was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The boy fell into the borewell while he was playing in the fields and the rescue operation was started nearly an hour after. Oxygen was supplied to him through a pipe, and a camera was inserted into the borewell to monitor his condition. Though he was pulled out after three days, but could not survive.
A large number of people had gathered to see the rescue operation as the rescue personnel raced against time to complete the digging at the earliest and rescue the minor, NDRF Commandant Yogesh Kumar said.
