Pushpa 2 stampede case: Hyderabad court allows relaxes Allu Arjun's bail terms, allows him to travel abroad
Earlier, the court had granted Allu Arjun regular bail on January 3, mandating weekly appearances before the investigating officer
PTC Web Desk: A Hyderabad court has granted actor Allu Arjun relief by relaxing certain bail conditions related to the 'Pushpa 2' stampede case. The revised order exempts him from the earlier requirement of reporting to the investigating officer every Sunday. Additionally, the court has allowed the actor to travel abroad to specific countries, provided he informs the Station House Officer (SHO) at Chikkadpally police station about his travel plans and accommodations in advance.
The order, dated January 10, also stipulates that Allu Arjun must be available to appear before the SHO when required. The court's decision came after the actor filed a petition seeking modifications to his bail conditions.
Earlier, the court had granted Allu Arjun regular bail on January 3, mandating weekly appearances before the investigating officer until the filing of the charge sheet or for two months, whichever came first. He was also barred from international travel without prior approval. These conditions followed his interim bail granted by the Telangana High Court on December 14, which expired on January 10.
The actor was arrested on December 13 in connection with a stampede incident on December 4 at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre, where a woman lost her life, and her young son sustained injuries as fans rushed to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun during the premiere of Pushpa 2. The case was filed against the actor, his security team, and the theatre management based on a complaint by the deceased woman’s family. The police charged them under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
