PTC News Desk: A day after projecting statement of solidarity by carrying a bag with Palestine slogan, Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi has once again made headlines with her bag while she was approaching Parliament complex.

Wadra seemed to double down with her slogan on the plight of minorities in Bangladesh imprinted on her bag. "Stand with Bangladeshi Hindus and Christians," the quote on her bag read. The development comes a day after Congress MP was seen carrying a bag with Palestine emblazoned on it.

Priyanka Gandhi was seen spearheading a protest of Congress MPs against the atrocities against the minorities in Bangladesh. The Congress MPs were seen holding placards along with the bags in the Parliament complex.

During her address in the Lok Sabha, Priyanka Gandhi called out Union government to raise the issues of atrocities against minorities in Bangladesh following the ouster of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. She also urged the centre to engage via diplomatic channels with Dhaka to ensure the safety of the Hindus and other minorities.

"The government should raise the issue of atrocities on minorities, both Hindus and Christians, in Bangladesh. We should discuss this with the Bangladesh government and support those who are in pain," she said.

A series of incidents of violence against minorities especially Hindus have taken place in Bangladesh. The attacks on temples have also been on the rise in the country lately triggering strong concerns in New Delhi.

Earlier Bangladesh acknowledged 88 incidents of communal violence against minorities, primarily Hindus.
