PTC Web Desk: A shocking incident has come to light at 'Learn with Fun', a play school in Noida's Sector 70, where the director, Navnish Sahay, has been arrested for allegedly installing a spy camera in the bulb socket of the teachers' washroom.

On December 10, a teacher noticed an unusual faint light emanating from the bulb holder in the washroom. Upon inspecting closely, she discovered a concealed spy camera. The teacher alerted the school’s security guard, Vinod, who confirmed the presence of the hidden device.

When the matter was brought to the attention of the director, Navnish Sahay, and the school's coordinator, Parul, both allegedly denied the claims and failed to take any action.

The teacher reported the incident to the Noida Central Police. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shakti Mohan Awasthi led the investigation, which confirmed that the camera was operational and capable of live-streaming footage directly to personal devices.

Sahay admitted during interrogation to purchasing the spy camera online for Rs 22,000. The device was designed to blend seamlessly into a bulb holder, making it hard to detect without close examination. The director confessed to using the camera to monitor live footage from the teachers' washroom on his computer and mobile phone.

The teacher also alleged a prior incident where she discovered a similar spy camera in the school toilet. Despite handing it over to the coordinator, no action was taken at that time.

The police are investigating whether security guard Vinod was complicit in installing the device, as he reportedly disclosed that the camera was placed by the director himself.

In light of the incident, the school has suspended its operations pending the ongoing investigation.
