New viral video shows Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi makes video call to Pakistani don Bhatti, wishes 'Eid Mubarak'
PTC News Desk: A video call that emerged from the prison of infamous gangster Lawrence Bishnoi—who is suspected of killing Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala—went viral very soon after it was posted online. In the footage, Bishnoi is seen chatting and sharing Eid wishes with Pakistani mafia figure Shahzad Bhatti.
This incident has raised questions about the efficiency of jail administration once more. Despite the video's widespread distribution, PTC News has not formally confirmed its veracity.
Bikram Singh Majithia, a senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader, has expressed grave concerns over the video. He drew attention to Bishnoi's criminal history, which includes the murder of Moosewala, and he was critical of the seeming impunity with which Bishnoi functions from his prison cell. Even though Bishnoi is serving time in a Gujarati jail, he still has contacts to the criminal world.
Majithia noted that no definitive findings have been released despite Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann appointing a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into these activities. He emphasized how dangerous it is for the public's safety when criminals in prison like Bishnoi are able to plan crimes and make threats like the ones that are supposedly aimed at Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
It is noteworthy that Lawrence Bishnoi is still being held captive in a Gujarati jail despite constant observation and worries about his potential for further influence and illegal activities.
