Mumbai road rage: 4 year old killed after speeding car runs over; teen driver arrested

The deceased has been identified as Ayush Laxman Kinvade who along with his family used to live on footpath and his father is a worker.

PTC News Desk: In an unfortunate turn of events, a four year old was killed in Mumbai after a speeding car ran over him. The car was driven by a 19 year old man. The accident took place near the Ambedkar College in the Wadala area.


The deceased has been identified as Ayush Laxman Kinvade who along with his family used to live on footpath and his father is a worker. 


The accused Sandeep Gole, who was driving the Hyundai Creta, is a resident of Vile Parle. The police has launched investigation into the matter. 



The latest incident comes few days after a driver in Mumbai lost control of the bus operated under Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) rammed into the pedestrians killing seven people and injuring 42 others. 


The bus driver, Sanjay More, claimed that the brakes failed, leading to the crash. However, initial investigations suggested that there was no technical fault in the bus.
