PTC News Desk: A man was discovered dead on a road in front of his flat in Goregaon, Mumbai. Locals discovered the home key around his neck, worn like a locket, after he stopped responding to calls from his wife and locked the entrance to his apartment. But the events that transpired were dismal. The woman who owned the apartment lay dead.

The horrifying series of events started early on Friday morning when Kishore Pednekar's corpse, aged 58, was found lying in front of Jawahar Nagar's Topiwala Mansion on the road. Kishore, a salesman for exercise equipment, is said to have leaped to his death. After locals found his body and informed the police, Kishore was sent to a nearby hospital. Sadly, upon arriving, he was pronounced deceased.

Repeated calls to Rajshree, Kishore's wife, remained unanswered as officials attempted to inform her of her husband's passing. Police discovered the door was locked from the inside when they arrived at their apartment. At that moment, they saw that Kishore had two keys dangling around his neck. The cops used these keys to unlock the apartment, and what they saw was even more unsettling.

The 57-year-old therapist Rajshree was discovered dead in their apartment's hallway. Like her husband, she had been strangled and was pronounced dead at the hospital. According to authorities, the initial impression was that Kishore had slain his wife before ending his own life.

According to police findings in his apartment, Kishore was supposedly suffering from acute depression. These findings raise the possibility that Kishore was responsible for the deaths and had planned them. Prior to taking his own life, he had arranged for his son to have a plane ticket from Delhi to Mumbai and had emailed a relative precise details regarding his bank accounts over WhatsApp.

The son of the couple works and lives in Delhi. An investigation is currently proceeding, and a case has been filed.
