Manipur: 13 dead in deadly gun battle between two militant groups in Tengnoupal district

PTC Web Desk: At least 13 persons were killed in a deadly gun battle between two militant groups in Manipur's Tengnoupal district on Monday. The clash occurred at Leithu village in the afternoon. According to the authorities, a contingent of militants en route to Myanmar was ambushed by another insurgent faction, which holds dominance in the area.

Upon arriving at the scene, security forces discovered 13 bodies, although their identities remain unconfirmed. However, initial assessments suggest that they were not local residents.
