PTC News Desk: Maharashtra minister Nitesh Rane has raised doubts over Saif Ali Khan stabbing case questioning that weather the actor was actually stabbed or was just acting.
Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times at his residence in Bandra on January 16 with one injury reported close to his spine. Five days after the attack, he was discharged from Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital.
Speaking during an event in Pune, Rane said, "When I saw Saif Ali Khan after he was discharged, I doubted whether he was really stabbed or just acting."
The minister also came down heavily over opposition and accused that they have only expressed concerns when 'a Khan is in trouble', however they remained silent in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput.
"Supriya Sule is worried about Saif Ali Khan, Shahrukh Khan's son and NCP leader Nawab Malik. Have you ever heard her being worried about any Hindu artist," he said.
He further added that, "Earlier, Bangladeshis used to stay at the Mumbai port, but have now started entering houses as well. Maybe they had come to take him away."
The remarks were shrugged off by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar who said "I don't know what he said... but if he has something on his mind, he can tell the Home Department."
