Maharashtra: 15 killed, several injured after container truck hit vehicles, rams into hotel

Maharashtra accident: In a horrific accident on Mumbai-Agra Highway, 15 killed and 28 injured after container truck hit four vehicles and then rammed into a hotel on highway 

The accident took place in Shirpur taluka of Dhule district. 

As per the sources, the accident took place at around 10:45 am near Palasner village on Mumbai-Agra highway in Dhule. 

As per the preliminary investigation, the brakes of truck failed and truck driver lost control due to which the truck rammed into motorcycles, a car and another container. 

After hitting the vehicles the truck rammed into a hotel on highway and overturned. 

This is the second major accident in Maharashtra after 25 passengers were killed after a vehicle caught fire on the Samruddhi-Mahamarg Expressway in Buldhana City earlier this week.
