Maha Kumbh is prime example of sabka prayaas: PM Modi in Lok Sabha
The Prime Minister also emphasised the 'show of unity' is India's great strength amid tough global challenging times where the entire world has been surrounded with war.
PTC News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address in Lok Sabha said that Maha Kumbh held in Prayagraj is the prime example of 'sabka prayas' during which the world witnessed grandeur of India.
"Several people had a role to play in the success of Maha Kumbh. I thank all the 'karm yogis' of the government and society," PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister also emphasised the 'show of unity' is India's great strength amid tough global challenging times where the entire world has been surrounded with war.
"Today, when the entire world is going through challenging times, the grand show of this unity is our great strength. We have always said that unity in diversity is India's speciality and we witnessed this on a grand scale in Prayagraj," he said.
"The entire world saw India's grandeur in the form of Maha Kumbh... We witnessed a national awakening in the Maha Kumbh, which would inspire new achievements. This also gave a befitting reply to those who doubt our strength," PM Modi further added.
Meanwhile, the largest religious congregation also centred around several controversies ranging from stampede occurring on January 29 during Mauni Amavasya to report of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) citing pesence of 'faecal coliform' bacteria in the Kumbh waters deeming it unfit for bathing.
