PTC News Desk: Rashtriya Janata Dal head and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad and his sons Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav have been granted bail in a land-for-jobs case.

Special Judge Vishal Gogne of the Rouse Avenue Court granted relief to the RJD leaders on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh each, observing that they were not arrested during the probe.

The next hearing in the matter is scheduled for October 25.

Lalu Prasad, Tejashwi Yadav, and Tej Pratap Yadav appeared before the Delhi court on summons issued by the court earlier. The summons was issued by the judge following the filing of a supplementary charge sheet against the accused.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed its final report with the court on August 6.

The ED filed a case based on a FIR filed by the CBI.

“They keep indulging in political conspiracy. They misuse agencies. There is nothing concrete in this case. Our victory is certain...,” Tejashwi Yadav stated.

Tej Pratap is the sixth member of Lalu Prasad's family whose name appears in the case. Apart from Lalu Prasad, the other members include former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, former deputy Chief Minister and opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav, and their daughters, Lok Sabha MPs Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav.
