Kerala CM Pinarayi's convoy caught in a multi-car collision; watch video

Several vehicles of CM's convoy collided with each other when the pilot car suddenly stopped in order to save the woman rider who took a sudden turn.

PTC News Desk: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s convoy met with a multi-car collision on Monday evening at the Vamanapuram Park junction in Thiruvananthapuram district. The incident took place while chief minister was returning to Thiruvananthapuram from Kottayam.


The vehicle of chief minister endured minor however no injuries were reported. The video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. 


In the video, the woman can be seen taking a sharp turn causing a white SUV behind her to come to a screeching halt followed by six escort vehicles including ambulance ramming into each other. 


Security personnel were seen deboarding the vehicles to assess the situation and check on the Chief Minister. Many medical staff were also seen rushing out of the ambulance.


According to the officials, police have launched a probe into the matter to to scrutinize further details.
