IndiGo experiences major system slowdown; flights delayed and bookings disrupted

PTC Web Desk: IndiGo, India’s largest airline, reported a significant system slowdown on Saturday, impacting its entire network. The disruption, which began around 12. 30 pm, affected the airline's website, booking system, and airport services, leading to widespread delays and inconvenience for passengers.

In a public advisory, IndiGo said, “We are currently experiencing a temporary system slowdown across our network, which is affecting our website and booking system. As a result, customers may face longer wait times, including slower check-ins and extended queues at airports.”



The system outage has caused numerous delays across major airports, with passengers unable to board flights or complete bookings, causing frustration and uncertainty. IndiGo assured travellers that its airport staff is working diligently to assist passengers and restore normal operations as quickly as possible. “We regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience as we resolve this issue,” the airline added.
