Haryana: Four children killed as wall collapses at brick kiln in Hisar’s village
PTC Web Desk: In a tragic incident near Narnaund’s Budana village, a wall collapsed at a brick kiln, leaving four children dead and injuring three others. The deceased were aged between three months and nine years. The injured are receiving treatment at Hisar’s Civil Hospital.
The incident occurred around midnight when the labourers were resting after their daily work. The wall, connected to the brick kiln’s chimney, suddenly collapsed, trapping the families of the labourers under the debris. The deceased have been identified as were three-month-old Nisha, nine-year-old Suraj, nine-year-old Vivek, and five-year-old Nandini.
Eyewitnesses stated that the children were sleeping near the wall, which was surrounded by brick structures with only one large gate for exit. The heavy brick wall gave way, crushing the sleeping children.
Three children died on the spot, while the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital and later referred to Hisar. Tragically, the three-month-old infant also succumbed to her injuries.
