Haryana: 12 hurt as multiple vehicles collide on Ambala-Saharanpur highway due to fog

Yamuna Nagar , December 18: Nearly Twenty-two vehicles on Ambala-Saharanpur highway in Yamuna Nagar collided, injuring at least 12 people. The incident occurred early Sunday morning when Yamuna Nagar was shrouded in thick fog. Vehicles on the road were crawling slow due to poor visibility.
The accident was so serious that many vehicles were completely damaged and about 12 people were injured in these accidents, said Traffic SHO Lukesh Kumar.

Yamuna Nagar experienced heavy fog for the second day in a row today, significantly reducing visibility in the area.
As the injured in the vehicle involved in the first crash attempted to exit the vehicle, an additional vehicle boarded the previously impacted vehicle, resulting in multiple collusions involving nearly two dozen vehicles.
Upon receiving information about the accident, several ambulances and police cars rushed to the accident site and the injured were taken to hospital.
The collision congested the highway for an extended period of time, causing inconvenience to other travelers.
Due to heavy fog in this area, visibility has been very poor for the last two days.
