Gold and silver price today: Yellow metal all-time high at Rs 77,968 per 10 gm, silver Near Rs 97,167 per kg

Experts say geopolitical tensions and the onset of the festive season are providing support to gold prices

Gold and silver price today: Gold and silver prices surged to new record levels on Monday. According to data from the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 gm of 24-carat gold rose by Rs 558, reaching Rs 77,968. Just a day earlier, the rate stood at Rs 77,410 per 10 gm.

Silver prices also witnessed a significant jump, increasing by Rs 4,884 to trade at Rs 97,167 per kg. The previous day, silver was priced at Rs 92,283 per kg. Earlier this year, on May 29, silver had reached a previous all-time high of Rs 94,280 per kg.

Bhopal: 22-carat gold at Rs 73,050 per 10 gm, 24-carat at Rs 79,690

Experts say geopolitical tensions and the onset of the festive season are providing support to gold prices. They said further gains are likely in the coming days, with gold potentially reaching Rs 79,000 per 10 gm by the end of the year. Silver is also anticipated to climb, possibly reaching Rs 1,00,000 per kg.
