New Delhi, March 14: Petrol and diesel prices have risen in India's immediate neighbourhood and in some other advanced countries, while they fell in India, according to data from various sources.
According to data, petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal increased by 22-38 percent and 20-104 percent, respectively, over the last year. They increased by 3-8 percent in countries such as France, Italy, and Spain.

In India, however, they fell by 3.7-5.0 percent during the same time period.
Furthermore, data revealed that the price difference between BJP and non-BJP-ruled states differs, with prices in various non-BJP states being higher.
