PTC News Desk: An explosion was reported from Prashant Vihar in Delhi's Rohini on Thursday morning, more than a month after a blast sparked alarm in the same area. According to reports, the explosion occurred on Thursday near PVR in the Prashant Vihar area.
Prashant Vihar received a blast call at 11.48 a.m. on Thursday. The Delhi Fire Service confirmed that fire tenders were on the scene.

According to an Indian Express report, the initial investigation suggested that the blast was caused by a crude bomb; however, further investigation revealed that the explosion could have been caused by burning cigarette butts thrown by a man walking his dog and coming into contact with industrial waste in a garbage dump.
