Divya Pahuja murder: Police find murdered model's body in Haryana canal

Divya Pahuja murder: In a major development in the Divya Pahuja murder case, Haryana Police have found the body of the killed model in a canal in Tohana city. According to reports, her body was identified through a tattoo.

Six Gurugram Police teams were tasked with recovering Pahuja's body. Several Punjab police teams, as well as a 25-member National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), were called in to help recover her body.

Divya Pahuja Murder Case

Divya Pahuja, an accused in the alleged fake encounter with dreaded gangster Sandeep Gadoli, was released on bail after serving seven years in prison. She was killed on January 2. 

Police said she was blackmailing Abhijeet Singh, 56, a hotel owner in the city, who allegedly shot her to death at one of his properties.

Singh along with his two employees Hemraj (28) and Om Prakash (23) were arrested in connection with the case. 

The murder was discovered after Pahuja's family, unable to contact her, approached police, suspecting foul play.
