Devendra Fadnavis takes oath as Maha Chief Minister; Shinde, Pawar become deputy CM

Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar were sworn-in as the Deputy Chief Ministers of Maharashtra. Union Minister Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and JP Nadda, and other top BJP leaders were also present.

PTC News Desk: BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis took oath as Maharashtra Chief Minister for 3rd time at Azad Maidan. Fadnavis returns to the post after five years. Prime Minister Modi was also present at the event.


Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar were sworn-in as the Deputy Chief Ministers of Maharashtra. Union Minister Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and JP Nadda, and other top BJP leaders were also present. 

The oath ceremony was a star studded event with Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor in attendance. Industrialists Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Anant Ambani, and Kumar Mangalam Birla were also present.


The oath ceremony was attended by approximately 40,000 people. 


Former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar along with his wife Anjali were among the attendees at the Maharashtra government oath ceremony.
