Delhi Metro shocker: Man detained for 'inappropriate behaviour' with girl on Delhi Metro

Delhi Shocker: There has been rise in unsuitable behavior in Delhi Metro which leads to controversies over filming, shooting and other inappropriate behavior in coaches and platforms of Delhi Metro which creates disturbance and inconvenience for passengers. 

While for some, such content could be fun and entertainment but for some, the content can be a source of inconvenience and discomfort for fellow passengers on the train.

In a shocking and horrifying incident, Delhi Police detained man for ‘inappropriate behavior’ with a girl in an overcrowded Delhi Metro. 

The incident took place at around 8:30pm on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan festive when a girl was travelling with her mother on the overcrowded ‘Red Line’ of the Delhi Metro. 

At first it was not noticed as the Metro was over crowded but as soon as the mother of the girl noticed that the man allegedly practised self-touch and did unfit and unsuitable behavior with the girl on the metro, mother-daughter duo got down at the Seelampur station. 

The accused belonged from West Bengal and was caught by the passengers in the Delhi Metro and later handed him to Delhi Police.

Several examples of inappropriate behavior in public spaces, including the Delhi Metro, can be a concern and may involve behaviors like harassment, eve-teasing, and other forms of misconduct. Such behavior can make passengers feel uncomfortable, unsafe, and violated.
