Delhi CM Atishi 'evicted' from official residence, AAP blames Lt Governor

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has been evicted from her official residence, claimed the Chief Minister's Office on Wednesday.

PTC News Desk: Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has been evicted from her official residence, claimed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday.

The Delhi Chief Minister's Office stated that Lt Governor Vinai Saxena "forcibly removed" Atishi's belongings from the official residence "at the behest of the BJP," indicating the start of a fresh conflict between the AAP and the Centre.

The Lieutenant Governor's Office has yet to respond to the claims made by the Delhi Chief Minister's Office.

"For the first time in the history of the country, the Chief Minister's residence was vacated. At the behest of the BJP, the Lt Governor forcibly removed Chief Minister Atishi's belongings from the Chief Minister's residence," the Chief Minister Office stated.
