Delhi airport issues advisory for passengers amid low visibility, cold wave
New Delhi, January 7: Keeping in view, low visibility, cold waves and dense fog all across the national capital, Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi issued advisory and launched procedure and conditions for safety and security of passengers.

In the meanwhile, Airport authorities also stated that several precautions and procedures have been undertaken at the airport to counter the menace of low visibility and for safety of passengers.
The Airport authorities also requested passengers to keep contact with helpline numbers of concerned airlines for the latest information about the flights as due to the cold weather conditions several flights may delay or might get cancelled.
Meanwhile, many passengers face delays and cancellation in flights due to dense fog, cold waves and low visibility that persist all across the nation.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) also issued alert for the next few days as dense to very dense fog and cold wave conditions likely to prevail all across the nation especially, Punjab, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.
